Brief
Write a positioning statement for a real product using the Geoffrey Moore template.
Deliverables
A completed Geoffrey Moore positioning statement for a real product (your own or a public company), with each blank explicitly labeled.
A one-paragraph explanation of why you chose the specific category, competitor, and differentiator you named.
Three alternative positioning statements using different reference frames or target customers, with a one-sentence note on the tradeoff each represents.
A list of two features or product decisions that your chosen positioning would require you to prioritize and two it would require you to deprioritize.
How we grade it
Positioning statement fills all five Moore template blanks without vague language (no 'best', 'easy', 'innovative', or 'leading').
The chosen differentiator is specific enough that at least one named competitor cannot make the same claim today.
Alternative statements represent genuinely different strategic choices, not minor wording variations.
Feature implications are grounded in the positioning logic — each prioritized feature connects to the stated key benefit or differentiator.
