Hints

• Fill the reference library BEFORE generating anything. Otherwise you'll end up with vibes-based prompts and slop.
• Use the free tier of at least 3 tools in Week 1. Pay for one only after you've picked a favorite.
• The 30-day tracker is the most important artifact of this course. Fill it religiously.
• Don't skip music theory — the 40-word cheat sheet is what makes your prompts land.

Stretch goals

• Curate a private Spotify playlist of your reference library (helps for prompt sessions on the go)
• Do a blind A/B: give a friend two tracks (one AI, one human-made) at similar genres. Can they tell?
• Track the LUFS of your Day 1 vs. Day 30 outputs — you should hear less over-compression as your prompts improve
• Publish one Day-30 track to Bandcamp (free tier). Yes, actually put it out. The publishing act teaches its own lessons.
• Start a 'kill file' — tracks you rejected. Include why. Six months in, this teaches you your own taste better than your keeper pile.
